Case

The case is manufactured with surgical-grade 316L stainless steel, both hypoallergenic and tarnish-proof, as with all other exterior metal parts, including the crown, pushers, buckle and nylon strap grommets.

The case back and crown directly screw into the case to satisfy a superlative water resistance rating of 20 ATM (approx. 660 feet/300 meters underwater).

Black cases are treated with a Diamond-Like Coating (DLC), which roughly doubles the stainless steel’s hardness rating, which translates to fewer noticeable scratches.

Crystal

Mounted into the case, the sapphire crystal is double-curved, subtly magnifying dial details for increased legibility. Its underside has been treated with an anti-reflective coating to minimize glare in strong lighting conditions.

Movement

The Swiss made analog quartz movements that run our Swiss Delta watches are manufactured by leading watch movement manufacturer Ronda. Specific information about each movement can be found on our product detail pages.

Assembly and Testing

Near the Mediaeval walled town of Solothurn, Switzerland, Mr. Volker Fink and his dedicated team have been assiduously assembling and testing our parent Seattle Watch Company’s timepieces for nearly two decades. With our first collection of Swiss Delta watches they have provided an extraordinary level of workmanship and attention to detail.

Leather

The leather straps in our collection are all made of vegetable-dyed Italian bridle leather. Prolonged wear beautifully ages this type of leather, causing it to both soften and burnish or slightly darken in color. Quick-release spring bars make it easy to swap one strap out for another.

Nylon

Our naturally waterproof nylon straps have been constructed with a heavy-gauge nylon, doubled up for extra durability. Though a bit stiff at first, the material breaks in after continued wear, comfortably molded to the wearer’s wrist. Quick-release spring bars make it easy to swap one strap out for another.

Dial

The double-coated metal dial features applied numbers and, on our chronograph models, applied indices, each individually mounted to the dial surface. Their raised profile aids in legibility from all angles. Our non-chronograph models are finished with a slanted dial ring, also mounted to the dial surface. All indices and numbers on black dials are painted with luminescent SuperLuminova paint.

Hands

Hour, minute and chronograph second hands feature SuperLuminova paint that charges up in sunlight and glows in the dark, reducing eye strain in low-light conditions.
